Honey spent her first 2.5 years of life in a kill shelter near Detroit. A rescue took her out from there, she had a puppy while at the rescue, and the was placed in a foster home. She went through several failed adoptions just because people did not understand how to handle a pitbull with anxiety. My sister found her and sent me a picture of her. I drove out to my home state to meet her and we instantly clicked with each other. After I adopted her I found that she had never received any vet care and she was diagnosed with heart worms and multiple other problems. She went through 6 months of heartworm treatment and is now, finally, healthy happy and carefree!
